What you will do

• Support VAVE and Engineering teams with Design-to-Cost and Engineer-to-Cost activities for ongoing projects.
• Assist in VAVE analyses, cost breakdowns, and benchmarking for parts, assemblies, and product lines.
• Collaborate with production and development teams in Germany and China during VAVE idea implementation.
• Support part/function cost optimization through data analysis, idea generation, and technical comparisons.
• Explore new cost-effective materials, components, and technologies together with Procurement and Engineering.
• Maintain and update the VAVE database, documentation, and reporting for the product portfolio.

Requirements

• Enrolled in bachelor or master studies in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical mindset and enjoyment for working with data and technical comparisons.
• Basic understanding of cost engineering or value analysis principles.
• Detail-oriented and enjoy working on cross-functional topics across procurement and engineering.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable working with databases, eager to use AI tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
