What you will do

• Elevate operational excellence to guarantee seamless operation of autonomous vehicles on public roads.
• Drive the development of cutting-edge tools and automation for streamlined operations, from first-line support to fleet management.
• Develop key metrics and monitoring/logging systems to preempt problems and promote rapid resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role in a production environment.
• Expertise in Python, C++, or Rust, with a solid foundation in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Expertise with monitoring and troubleshooting utilities (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Humio).
• Exceptional problem-solving/troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Expertise in Linux and strong systems foundations.
• Must be based in Japan for hybrid work.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to provide out-of-hours support for live systems.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with Azure, AV companies, or embedded systems.
• Previous experience with ML/AI.
