What you will do

• Lead and manage the Design School Technology engineering team.
• Oversee the building and maintenance of hirify.global's global educational platform.
• Ensure team happiness, health, and high performance aligned with the roadmap.
• Productize team work, develop tools, and improve code structure for efficient delivery.
• Work cross-functionally with product designers, content designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Empower the team to resolve technical conflicts and collaborate effectively.

Requirements

• Experience in technical leadership, specifically within a full-stack team.
• Strong knowledge of both Frontend and Backend, with specialization in either JavaScript/web technologies (HTML/CSS) or Java.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to contribute to design documents and code reviews.
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device development.
• Proven people leadership experience and fostering career growth for software engineers.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and partner effectively with diverse teams, including Product and Design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in A/B testing and Experiment Driven Development.
• Experience developing a Java backend.
• Experience developing mobile Apps.
