Location: Remote in the US (Travel domestically and internationally 30%+ frequency required)

Salary: $105,000–$160,000

What you will do

• Assess, design, develop, build, and validate solutions leveraging hirify.global’s portfolio for various markets.
• Lead efforts in developing use cases and documenting best practices.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop solution architectures that inform product development initiatives and guide customer engagements.
• Document industrial network and digital automation network designs.
• Validate solution architectures and report results of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) testing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in industrial control systems.
• Experience navigating converged IT/OT environments and deploying tools for SCADA, HMI, MES/ERP.
• In-depth knowledge of technical protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, CAN bus, ProfiNet, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT.
• Exposure to coding in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Python, Java, and/or Node-Red.
• Engineering degree with a focus on ethernet networking, industrial systems & controls, or digital communications.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to perform duties (30%+ frequency).

Nice to have

• Experience with networking technologies (e.g., 802.3, 802.11, 4G/5G) or IEC 62443.
• Experience with data engineering, data historians, and other analytic projects.
