What you will do

• Resolve complex and critical customer issues with advanced troubleshooting and environment recreation.
• Collaborate globally with frontline and field support teams across multiple regions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the organization.
• Engage with Development and Product Management on code fixes and feature requests.
• Lead escalation calls and incident management in high-pressure situations.
• Continuously learn emerging technologies and contribute to documentation and training.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Senior System Administrator or Senior Support Engineer for Linux OS (hirify.global or Red Hat).
• Knowledge equivalent to LPIC-2 certification or higher preferred.
• Proficiency in reading source code, especially C and Bash.
• Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Specialization in two or more areas: High Availability/Clustering, Advanced Networking, Storage technologies, Linux Kernel internals, Active Directory/Windows Server integration, or Non-x86_64 architectures.
