Network Development Engineer, EuSC (European Sovereign Cloud)

What you will do

• Lead network projects in areas such as network sustaining engineering, deployment/implementation, scaling, and optimization.
• Influence operations, respond to customer impact events, troubleshoot, and improve network automation.
• Analyze the network using tools and metrics to ensure it operates correctly, safely, and securely.
• Investigate technical issues thoroughly and assist in fixing complex problems.
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, optimizing and removing bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Experience working in a large-scale networking environment.
• Experience in technical support or working with customers, with a passion for exceptional service and troubleshooting technical systems.
• Experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP or deploying identity and access management systems, and experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting networks, networking protocols, automation, and control tools.
• This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF, and other R&S technologies.
• Experience using Linux, demonstrating proficiency with associated tools or languages.
• Knowledge of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with customers, with a passion for delivering exceptional service, or experience in any Bigdata architecture and experience in managing firewalls.
• Experience in scripting or programming work in Ruby, Python, Shell/BASH scripting, Java, C/C++, C*, Perl, or other languages.
