Software Engineer (.NET)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (.NET): Developing and maintaining robust .NET Core applications for a digital platform, with an accent on backend aspects, microservices architecture, and securing software quality and security compliance. Focus on developing standard and configurable solutions within an Agile SCRUM team, ensuring domain expertise remains within the organization.

Location: The position is based in Lund, Sweden. Limited travel to support internal customer activities such as field test or external technology verification (ETV) can be required occasionally.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust .NET Core applications, utilizing C#.
• Design and implement microservices architectures, promoting scalability and maintainability.
• Secure good quality of your outcome testing the code and implementing test automation.
• Secure software security compliance.
• Read, maintain, and modify technical specifications of the digital architecture for the entire plant.
• Work in Agile SCRUM teams following SAFe principles to support project objectives.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in .NET Framework development, with a deep understanding of C#.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development, CRUD operations, PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases such as Mongo.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core, message brokers (RabbitMQ), unit/integration testing, debugging tools, and writing secure code.
• Familiarity within the DevOps space with experience in methodologies and toolkits, and with version control systems like Git.
• Experience on developing international software.
• A good command of English, both written and oral.
• Must be based in Lund, Sweden.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and frameworks commonly used in frontend development (React JS, Vue.js or Angular.js).
• Familiarity with Docker technology and Azure services.
• Familiarity with containers orchestration such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
