What you will do

• Determine performance test requirements and define test strategies.
• Develop and maintain load testing scripts for front-end, back-end, and middleware systems.
• Execute various performance tests (load, stress, volume, endurance) and analyze findings.
• Identify bottlenecks, recommend tuning strategies, and define SLAs, benchmarks, and KPIs.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development, SRE, and QA teams.
• Monitor and report performance metrics using observability tools and stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of extensive performance testing experience.
• Strong understanding of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance measures.
• Experience with performance testing tools like Gatling, JMeter, or Locust.
• Solid experience with object-oriented or scripting languages, preferably Java, and proficiency in Scala or willingness to learn.
• Ability to set up performance testing processes from scratch and plan testing activities.
• Experience with service-side monitoring tools, CI tools (GitLab, Jenkins), microservices architectures (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Gatling or Gatling Cloud.
