Security Officer (Fintech)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Define, implement, and maintain internal security controls, processes, and monitoring activities.
• Coordinate internal projects, roadmaps, and security initiatives, including audits and penetration tests.
• Act as a point of contact with clients and partners on security matters, including due diligence and RFPs.
• Ensure all security documentation, policies, and procedures are up to date and properly maintained.
• Oversee the vendor risk management program, including assessments, onboarding, and monitoring.
• Contribute to the incident response process and promote a culture of security across the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of experience in information security or in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of security fundamental principles and associated technologies.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; French or German a strong plus.

Nice to have

• Experience in vendor risk management, audit coordination, or security assessments.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Implementer/Auditor, or similar.
