What you will do

• Design and implement robust embedded Linux software for PTZ camera functionalities.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to real-time control, motion systems, and video processing.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate firmware issues to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with product projects to define requirements and integrate new features.
• Enhance software security and develop scalable platform features within a Linux-based environment.
• Work proactively within an agile methodology, contributing to code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience with building Linux based software.
• A master’s degree in computer science (or similar).
• Experience of programming in C/C++.
• Excellent communication skills in English and/or Swedish.
• Appreciates being part of a team, working together and delivering in time.
• Takes responsibility for own work, seeks information, and is good at troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience in code architecture.
• Some years’ work experience in developing embedded software.
• Experience with Embedded systems, Git, Gerrit, Yocto, Jenkins and Bitbake.
