TL;DR
Data Product Owner (AI): Owning the vision and defining the roadmap to turn collected data into better outcomes for BT and its customers, spanning data ingestion, modelling, quality, exposure and downstream consumption. Focus on shaping high-level ambitions into a prioritized backlog, resolving trade-offs, and identifying new product opportunities using analytics.
Location: Hybrid (expected to be in the office 3 days per week). Base in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester or London (United Kingdom).

What you will do
- Own and articulate the product vision for a squad in the Networks Data and AI team.
- Maintain a prioritized roadmap aligned to business outcomes, working with stakeholders.
- Convert strategy into incrementally deliverable value via the data engineering squad.
- Shape requests into well-defined requirements, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts.
- Develop measures to track and improve success metrics across delivery, adoption, and data quality.
- Identify new product opportunities using analytics and visualize complex insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience in incremental product development within a data or software engineering environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical backlogs.
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with agile delivery, prioritization, and iterative value release.
- Ability to translate complex technical problems and constraints into clear requirements and business trade-offs.
- Passion for using data to drive innovation and transformation.
Nice to have
- Background in Telecoms or Networks.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (GCP, AWS) and modern data pipelines.
- Familiarity with network domain data (e.g., Broadband, TV, Mobile, Fixed Voice, Network Telemetry).
- Previous experience in data engineering, architecture, analytics, or data science.
