What you will do

• Build onboarding platforms that can scale effectively across countries and products.
• Improve user conversion funnels (Onboarding and MTU) across the globe.
• Develop new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang.
• Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and the teams running them.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to define a tangible roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and debug extremely difficult technical problems.
• Review all feature designs within your product area and across the company, ensuring security, safety, scale, and architectural clarity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, and composing a service-oriented architecture.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Strong technical skills for system design and coding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for building an open financial system.

Nice to have

• Experience with rapid growth in a company (from startup to mid-size).
• Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience with Blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum).
• Experience with Golang, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
