Middle AI / ML Engineer (Fintech): Building AI applications end-to-end, including designing, prototyping, and shipping LLM features for a lending business with an accent on designing scalable, reliable architectures for data, inference, and integrations. Focus on implementing autonomous/assisted agents using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen to orchestrate tools and multi-step tasks.

Location: Work From Anywhere, workday should start no later than 2 PM (GMT+8)/7 AM (CET) to ensure effective collaboration within our international team.

What you will do

• Build AI applications end-to-end, designing, prototyping, and shipping LLM features from scratch.
• Design scalable, reliable architectures for data, inference, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain REST/FastAPI services for AI features, ensuring performance, security, and versioning.
• Design and run retrieval-augmented generation with vector databases and chunking/embedding strategies, automating workflows with n8n.
• Implement autonomous/assisted agents using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen to orchestrate tools and multi-step tasks.
• Manage prompt versioning, run LLM output evaluation, A/B tests, and guardrails to improve quality and safety.

Requirements

• Practical experience building and deploying ML/LLM applications in production.
• Python expertise and strong foundations in data structures/algorithms.
• System design experience for scalable services.
• Hands-on experience with REST and FastAPI (or similar).
• RAG experience including embeddings, chunking, retrieval, re-ranking, and evaluation.
• English B2 - a tech interview will be in English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Spoken Russian is a plus
• Experience with media generation (audio/video generation).
