Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes): Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines to enhance production stability and reliability with an accent on improving existing Helm charts and deploying new ones. Focus on working with bare metal Kubernetes deployments, Istio, Calico, and system monitoring.

Location: Onsite in Valencia, Spain with relocation support and visa assistance provided.

Salary: €4,000–€7,000/month net

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, configure, and deploy Kubernetes clusters.
• Improve existing Helm charts and write new ones.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance production stability, availability, and reliability.
• Monitor system performance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Work with Cloud Providers and CloudFlare.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Kubernetes on bare metal (kubespray) and ability to deploy new clusters.
• Experience with Istio and Calico.
• Practical experience with Helm (writing/editing charts).
• Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus and ELK in a cluster.
• Experience with Linux (Debian-based) and CI/CD systems (GitLab).
• English: C1/C2 (Advanced/Fluent) required.
• Must be willing to relocate to Spain.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with CloudFlare.
• AWS or GCP experience.
