What you will do
- Support and enhance critical safeguarding and recovery platforms to ensure operational excellence and future readiness.
- Translate complex technical incidents into clear, non-technical language for business leaders.
- Lead operational incident response, root cause analysis, and accelerate recovery for business-critical services.
- Liaise with third-party vendors to facilitate project delivery and incorporate enhancements into the technical roadmap.
- Streamline workflows, implement automation solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a primary technical point of contact and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Robust background in technical infrastructure, with hands-on experience in backup and recovery.
- Experience with Windows and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) system and domain administration.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and Checkpoint Firewalls.
- Knowledge of Broadcom VCF, vSphere, Vmware, and VSAN.
- Deep familiarity with Dell products such as Data Domain, switches, PowerStore, and PowerEdge servers.
- Understanding of malware protection products, CyberArk, Spectrum Protect, and Dell Protection Suite.
- Ability to work hybrid in Manchester or Halifax, UK.
