TL;DR

Senior Service Designer: Lead the creation of seamless digital experiences and advance Service Design practice, with an accent on needs definition, journey mapping, blueprinting, and storytelling. Focus on facilitating workshops, influencing internal customers with evidence, and developing design thinking methods within agile teams.

Location: Hybrid working, requiring at least two days per week, or 40% of time, in the London office.

Salary: £90,440 - £106,400

What you will do

  • Lead the creation of seamless digital experiences, building advocacy for Service Design.
  • Work effectively within agile teams to uncover priorities, visualize outcomes, and define scope.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions, ensuring business context, needs, and risks are understood.
  • Research and document current-state services, and communicate future-state experiences.
  • Coach and mentor others in design decisions and user perspective.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and engineers, and contribute to the design community.

Requirements

  • Highly-motivated, proactive, and driven approach to achieving individual and collective goals.
  • Strong relationship building skills, using empathy to find opportunities and manage senior audiences.
  • Calm and resilient approach under pressure, proactively identifying new or potential risks.
  • Innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in research methods to inform design choices.
  • Highly experienced in 'design thinking' methods and workshop facilitation.
