What you will do

• Write, review, and maintain technical product documentation.
• Interview developers and subject matter experts to gather information for documentation.
• Develop a strong understanding of products and customer usage.
• Ensure usability and quality of documentation by verifying content against the actual product.
• Contribute to setting standards and development procedures for technical product documentation.
• Collaborate with peers to improve documentation development processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical writing experience documenting software applications.
• Excellent writing, editing, and organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend and explain complex technical content.
• Proficiency in online documentation publishing and desktop publishing tools.
• Experience using source control systems.
• Experience writing content for rapid deployment (SaaS releases).
• Ability to work with and communicate effectively with a global team of developers and SMEs.
• Experience with MadCap Flare.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with an emphasis in English, Technical Communication, or Information Management.
• Experience with topic-based authoring.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience documenting multiple products simultaneously.
• Experience writing cybersecurity software documentation.
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
