What you will do

  • Maintain and develop trading platforms for accessing global equity exchanges and other trading systems.
  • Implement solutions related to order routing, market information dissemination, and controls evaluation.
  • Optimize transaction platform functions while maintaining a low-latency performance profile.
  • Collaborate across business functions to deliver new solutions and tackle complex software engineering problems.
  • Ensure trading applications remain best-in-class by continuously improving system aspects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Productive in object-oriented programming, with C++ programming experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts, topologies, and technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive complex change to completion both collaboratively and independently.

Nice to have

  • Experience with low-latency systems, including messaging and network protocols.
  • Working knowledge of order management systems.
  • Knowledge of financial markets.
