Senior Scrum Master: Coaching and facilitating a mature agile team using a hybrid Scrum/Kanban approach with an accent on improving flow, story definition, and team self-organization. Focus on empowering the Product Owner, refining backlog health, and identifying systemic impediments for predictable delivery.

Location: Remote, EST/CST

What you will do

• Coach the team on agile principles and practices, adapting Scrum, Kanban, and flow-based methods.
• Take full ownership of Scrum Master responsibilities, freeing the Product Owner to focus on product strategy.
• Coach the team and Product Owner on effective story writing, backlog refinement, and prioritization.
• Improve delivery flow using flow-based metrics and identify systemic impediments.
• Facilitate productive discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team and with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agilist with mature teams.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid agile models.
• Hands-on experience improving story writing, backlog refinement, and prioritization.
• Ability to coach without authority and influence through facilitation and trust.
• Comfortable working in environments that are not "by the book" and don’t want to be.
