What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance PHP services using modern frameworks and native PHP.
• Improve and refactor legacy systems for stability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design and build scalable service-based or microservices solutions and APIs.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases, writing efficient queries for high-load production systems.
• Write clean, production-ready code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to testing, CI/CD, and system monitoring.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with PHP in production environments.
• Experience working with and improving legacy systems.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization, performance tuning).
• Experience designing APIs for real-world systems.
• Experience working with high-volume or data-heavy systems.
• Experience with distributed systems, message queues (RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka), or asynchronous processing.
• Ability to mentor other developers and maintain high coding standards.
• Clear communication skills and a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Ownership and accountability for your work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working with large analytical datasets.
• Experience with ClickHouse.
• Experience building services with Go or Node.js.
