What you will do

• Write, review, and maintain technical product documentation for multiple products.
• Interview developers and subject matter experts to gather information.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of products and customer usage.
• Ensure documentation usability by verifying content against the actual product.
• Adhere to and contribute to technical documentation standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with peers to improve documentation development processes and train less experienced writers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical writing experience documenting software applications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend and explain complex content.
• Proficiency in help authoring, online documentation publishing, and desktop publishing tools, including MadCap Flare.
• Strong understanding and use of agile software development methodologies and source control systems.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Dallas, TX, USA, or other specified office locations.
• Excellent oral communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in English, Technical Communication, or Information Management.
• Proficiency in topic-based authoring.
• Experience working with source control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of accessibility requirements.
• Experience writing cybersecurity software documentation.
