Perception Engineer (AI/Robotics): Researching and developing state-of-the-art perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles with an accent on multi-modal sensor fusion, 3D object detection, and tracking in complex dynamic environments. Focus on integrating, validating, and deploying production-ready safety-critical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Location: This is a full-time position preferably based in Stockholm or Gothenburg, although we are open to remote for the right candidates.

What you will do
- Research and develop state-of-the-art perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
- Implement solutions for multi-modal sensor fusion, 3D object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
- Integrate, validate, and deploy production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with System Engineering, Localization, Planning, and other teams to build a safe, deployable system.
Requirements
- PhD or highly qualified MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years research or industry experience in Perception, Sensor Fusion, Computer Vision, SLAM, or Calibration.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
- Experience in C/C++ and Python, with strong problem-solving skills.
