TL;DR

Business Development Representative: Proactively acquiring new and existing customers, qualifying leads, and developing business opportunities in the DACH market with an accent on lead management, research, and client relationship building. Focus on devising methods to generate new business and engaging with senior executives.

Location: Must be based in Berlin, Germany, with a flexible-hybrid model requiring weekly office visits.

Salary: Up to €50,000 base salary, €60,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Proactively acquire new and existing customers through marketing and self-generated leads.
  • Qualify leads using various platforms to create new business opportunities in the DACH market.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to prospective customers.
  • Handle lead management, research, qualification, and customer support.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and other internal functions to achieve goals.
  • Devise methods to generate new business opportunities and drive growth.

Requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Create a strong first impression and deliver an excellent experience for prospects and customers.
  • Motivated by researching and building new and existing client relationships.
  • Comfortable having high-level conversations with senior executives.
  • Ability to travel to on-site client and marketing events as needed.

Nice to have

  • CRM experience.
  • Inside sales and business acquisition experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • General knowledge of the IT industry.
