hirify.global is looking for an Infrastructure Analyst for one of its clients.
What you will do
- Provide enterprise-level support for IT infrastructure, including automation platforms, physical and virtual servers, storage, and remote access.
- Integrate software to enable usage, support, monitoring, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain routine work procedures and define standard installation/upgrade methodologies.
- Install and support critical computer systems, including servers, networking appliances, and cabling.
- Monitor data center environment for abnormalities and capacity (temperature, cooling, amperage, rack/switch port).
- Troubleshoot OSI Layer 1 connectivity, fiber, and copper cable issues.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with at least 1 year of experience, or High School/GED with at least 2 years of experience.
- Practical experience working within a data center environment and/or IT Infrastructure Support.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Experience with ServiceNow and Agile-based workflows such as Kanban and JIRA.
- Knowledge of OSI Layer 1, transceivers (SFPs, QSFPs), and various copper/fiber connectors/cables (Cat5, Cat7, MPO, LC, SC, Twinax).
- Basic knowledge of power calculations (wattage and amperage).
- English: B2 required.
Nice to have
- CompTia A+, Server+, Network+ or similar certifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills (listening, conflict management, approachability, collaborative).
- Ability to work effectively in a technically complex critical infrastructure environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (NERC CIP, TSA).
