What you will do

• Lead the engineering roadmap and deliver practical architectural solutions for challenging engineering problems.
• Design, architect, and build large-scale distributed, data-intensive, and resilient systems with configurability and reusability.
• Provide hands-on architecture and potentially manage other architects.
• Identify and help prioritize critical technical debt alongside solutions and iterative plans.
• Establish a high bar for writing maintainable software through coding, code reviews, and CI pipelines.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and internalize customer expectations in all engineering designs and implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field OR equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 13 years of relevant professional experience and software development experience in an individual contributor role.
• Experience developing software in a commercial software product development environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Polyglot in programming languages with the ability to learn new technologies as needed.
• Experience building and maintaining software for scale.
• Clear spoken and written communication.
