What you will do

• Contribute to and maintain open-source projects, specifically Conda-Forge and Pixi Package Manager.
• Design, develop, and maintain GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation frameworks.
• Establish and steward platform engineering standards, including CI/CD patterns and IaC templates.
• Lead and evangelize DevSecOps and GitOps practices, ensuring security and reliability in delivery pipelines.
• Promote and measure engineering effectiveness using DORA metrics.
• Serve as a technical mentor and thought leader for Python, automation, and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing with Python, including advanced scripting and automation.
• 6+ years of experience with Python automation, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Demonstrable open-source contributions, specifically to Conda-Forge and/or Pixi Package Manager.
• Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD automation at scale.
• Proven ability to establish engineering standards and reusable platform components.
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices.
