TL;DR

Software Engineering Technical Lead (.NET): Designing and implementing web-based solutions for hirify.global' platform, focusing on scalability and continuous improvement. Focus on defining architectures for new projects, performing code reviews, mentoring developers, and ensuring architectural qualities like availability, resilience, and scalability.

Location: Hybrid in Kuala Lumpur (3 times a week in the office). Offer only for candidates based in Malaysia.

What you will do

  • Lead architecture, design, and implementation of web-based solutions.
  • Perform hands-on development, define new project architectures, and conduct code reviews.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
  • Collaborate with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams to integrate, test, and deliver complex software solutions.
  • Take ownership of architecture qualities (e.g., availability, resilience, scalability) of solutions.
  • Work within an agile team to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years working experience as a senior software engineer.
  • 2+ years in design and architecture review.
  • 2+ years building modern web applications based on Web APIs (REST, RPC-over-HTTP, WebSockets, CQRS, DDD).
  • Expert knowledge in .NET stack with C# (ASP.NET MVC/Web API/Core, MS SQL Server).
  • Practical experience with microservices architecture and Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Fluency in English required.

Nice to have

  • Practical experience building enterprise JavaScript applications using React+Redux.
