Platform Engineer

TL;DR

Platform Engineer: Helping to run and improve an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and related tooling to enable product teams to develop and deliver code fast and safely. Focus on implementing automation, integrations, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting platform incidents.

Location: Onsite in one of their European offices: Belgrade, Serbia; Lisbon, Portugal; Sofia, Bulgaria; Valencia, Spain; Warsaw, Poland. A relocation package is available for international candidates.

What you will do

• Maintain and update the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and core tools like Sonarqube, Nexus, and Unleash.
• Implement automation and integrations between assigned software and other tools (Okta, GitLab, ArgoCD, Jira, Slack).
• Create and maintain pipelines and scripts to automate build, test, and release processes.
• Add self-service pipelines and safe rollout methods (canary, blue-green) in Kubernetes.
• Monitor logs, metrics, and alerts to quickly troubleshoot or prevent platform-related incidents.
• Collaborate with product development and infrastructure teams to streamline their daily workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years working with Kubernetes in AWS or another cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI (pipelines) and Argo CD, including multi-project, multi-environment, complex, and robust pipelines.
• Understanding of development and release flows, branching models, and Git/GitHub/GitLab flows.
• Basic knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of secrets and identity tools like Vault and Okta.
• At least Upper-intermediate spoken and written English level.

Nice to have

• Good skills in Python, Bash, JavaScript, and Golang.
