Location: Hybrid role, with 2 days per week on-site required in our Princeton, NJ, USA office.

Salary: US base salary range: $165,000–$195,000.

What you will do

• Redesign and re-architect the hirify.global Med backend for multi-medication support.
• Build scalable systems for provider visits, prescription management, and pharmacy fulfillment.
• Develop backend services for a multi-product, ecommerce-like post-purchase lifecycle.
• Expand platform capabilities for simultaneous multi-medication tracking.
• Contribute heavily to hands-on coding (70%), architecture (15%), and code review (15%).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth and Med Expansion teams.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Deep experience in Java and and/or Kotlin.
• Strong experience designing and working with relational databases.
• Experience architecting and scaling backend systems in production environments.
• A product-minded approach to engineering.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with high ownership.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance development workflows and efficiency.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and cross-functional teams.
