What you will do

• Lead technical direction and ensure engineering excellence within a multidisciplinary squad.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures.
• Drive best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and ensure code quality.
• Align technical decisions with product vision and business outcomes.
• Implement observability and SRE practices to ensure system reliability and lead incident response.
• Mentor engineers and foster high performance, psychological safety, and autonomy.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and REST API design.
• Solid background in architecture design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with GCP and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and data modeling.
• Knowledge of API security and secure data handling practices.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, observability, and SRE practices.
• Proven ability to lead technical direction within Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, outcome-driven development, and product mindset.
• Fluency in Spanish; intermediate English for documentation and collaboration.
• Technical excellence, architectural judgment, and people development skills.
