Location: Hybrid (2-3 times/week) from Brazil (Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo)

What you will do

• Lead a team of 8-10 software engineers (ICs).
• Coach and mentor software engineers, supporting their growth and performance.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver distributed systems at scale and align stakeholders around team vision, goals, and metrics.
• Ensure the team follows good development processes, is aligned internally, and consistently delivers quality software.
• Actively drive and improve recruitment, fostering psychological safety and facilitating conflict resolution.

Requirements

• Experience leading Engineering teams, ideally with a background as a software engineer or software architect.
• Experience being accountable for people management, including performance assessment, hiring, and supporting career growth.
• Experience leading agile teams, familiar with relevant ceremonies, metrics, and processes.
• A good level of technical understanding to take part in architecture discussions and translate complex projects.
• Advanced level of English required.
• Must work in a hybrid model (2-3 times/week) from Brazil (Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo).
