Options Specialist

TL;DR

Options Specialist (Fintech): Scaling and refining Options Operations desk by performing daily operational tasks, managing risk, and resolving customer escalations with an accent on process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring smooth options business functionality. Focus on identifying inefficiencies, prioritizing product features with engineering, and adapting to evolving business needs.

Location: This role is based in our Lake Mary, FL, Denver, CO, New York, NY, or Chicago, IL office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 USD

What you will do

• Perform daily options operational tasks such as expiration processing and account-level risk management.
• Independently identify process inefficiencies, design improvements, and implement scalable solutions.
• Act as a point of contact for teammates on complex cases, and escalate appropriately when needed.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize features and test the functionality of our options products.
• Support desks across Market Operations with out-of-hours responsibilities, including flexing across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or the equivalent).
• Active FINRA Series 4 license.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex financial topics like options and margin.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours and adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
• Comfort working autonomously, multitasking, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL and/or Python.
