What you will do
- Learn the tools and systems used by the team and complete clearly defined tasks.
- Build new features and improve existing code with guidance from the team.
- Work collaboratively with developers and stakeholders to understand goals and workflows.
- Participate in an agile development process, including planning and feedback.
- Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Document issues and improvements to help strengthen services.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field of study with a graduation date of May 2027.
- Must demonstrate hands-on development experience in Java and Python.
- Must display working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, AWS, RDS, or PostgreSQL.
- Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must exhibit solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
Nice to have
- Familiarity and experience with unit or integration tests for your code.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology using Jira.
- Familiarity with source control management systems such as GitHub.
