TL;DR
Account Representative (SMB): Identifies and engages in business and sales opportunities to establish strong customer/vendor relationships and achieve sales objectives with an accent on managing existing accounts, driving revenue, and advancing market share. Focus on tactical selling and maintaining high-level executive contact with accounts.
Location: This position can be based in Buffalo, NY or Scottsdale, AZ and follows a hybrid schedule with two remote workdays each week. Must be based in the U.S.
Salary: USD $44,500–$75,600 per year.

What you will do
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to identify growth acquisition opportunities.
- Manage assigned existing accounts by creating strategic plans to enhance reseller go-to-market growth.
- Generate revenue, drive profit, and advance market share by selling Ingram's products and services.
- Maintain high-level, executive contact with accounts, focusing on strategic relationships.
- Perform tactical selling and account support for strategically important territories.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of sales/customer service experience (preferably in a related industry) or one year of technology/distribution sales experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong selling skills to identify opportunities, position solutions, and close deals.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving agility.
- Moderate knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Ability to work in a team, multi-task, and perform duties with accuracy under urgency.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
