Salary: Ranges from $234,400 to $263,407 USD in the US, with higher ranges for New York/Bay Area ($293,000–$329,258.75 USD). Ranges also provided for Germany (€183,300.80–€205,984.27), UK (£161,384.40–£181,355.72, London up to £213,359.67), and Canada ($268,974–$302,259.53).

What you will do

• Maintain progress toward annual fundraising goals across major gifts, institutional giving, and grassroots revenue streams.
• Guide execution of donor strategies and pipeline development plans already underway.
• Partner cross-functionally to design and activate a strong philanthropic engagement strategy for MozFest 2026.
• Lead and support a multi-functional fundraising team, including senior leaders and individual contributors.
• Monitor progress against annual fundraising goals and provide monthly updates to leadership.
• Advise and support team members on donor cultivation and solicitation strategies.

Requirements

• Must be able to work remotely from Canada, Germany, UK, or US.
• 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success securing major gifts and institutional funding, including 7- and 8-figure gifts.
• Experience managing multiple revenue streams simultaneously.
• Strong experience leading and motivating multi-functional fundraising teams.
• Ability to step into an existing strategy and maintain performance without disruption.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, digital rights, open-source, or mission-driven organizations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.
• Previous interim leadership or maternity leave coverage experience.
• Experience fundraising for global convenings or large-scale events.
