What you will do
- Collaborate on architectural modernization, designing patterns for legacy displacement from monoliths with zero downtime.
- Build new services and transition existing ones from .NET to Spring while contributing to other codebases.
- Partner with product managers to define requirements and shape a roadmap balancing technical debt and new value.
- Communicate effectively across timezones, using written documentation and async methods for a distributed team.
- Master observability using Grafana and modern tracing to ensure backend system performance and reliability.
- Drive AI efficiency by leveraging Agentic programming tools (like Claude Code) for refactoring and development.
Requirements
- Deep experience in backend systems and comfortable switching between programming languages.
- Comfortable with event-driven systems and a proven track record of breaking down monoliths and managing system migrations.
- Believes code without a robust test suite (Unit, Integration, E2E) isn't finished.
- Strong product mindset, seeking to understand the business impact of architectural choices.
- Builds systems that provide performance insights rather than waiting for crashes.
