TL;DR

Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue/AI): Transforming monolithic frontend systems into modern micro-frontend architectures with an accent on AI-enhanced development, scalable UI services, and pragmatic technical leadership. Focus on leveraging agentic-based AI tools, designing resilient architectures, and implementing true agile practices for rapid releases.

Location: Hybrid working in Utrecht, Netherlands with the option to work abroad for 2 months per year.

What you will do

  • Leverage AI tools like Cursor, Augment Code, or Claude Code to accelerate coding, refactoring, and problem-solving.
  • Lead initiatives to decompose monolithic frontends into micro-frontend architectures.
  • Design scalable, resilient, and independently deployable UI services.
  • Embrace lightweight, outcome-focused engineering practices and implement CI/CD for rapid releases.
  • Collaborate closely with peers through pair programming and knowledge sharing, making pragmatic technical decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong frontend development expertise with deep experience in Vue3, Pinia, and Vite.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing micro-frontend architectures.
  • Advanced prompting techniques needed for AI-driven development practices.
  • 5+ years of professional software development with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
  • English proficiency at B2 level.
