What you will do
- Build and ship production-ready features for Android (and iOS).
- Own the full development lifecycle from concept and architecture to delivery and support.
- Champion quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practice standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, stakeholders) across locations.
- Lead and mentor other engineers, influencing technical direction.
- Take a proactive, hands-on approach in sprints to move with focus and speed.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, including concurrency, memory management, and Room Database.
- Production experience with Jetpack Compose and integrating it into XML-based codebases.
- Strong knowledge of Android frameworks and architectural patterns (MVVM, Coroutines, Clean Architecture).
- End-to-end mobile development experience from architecture and design to Google Play deployment.
- Proven experience with testing practices and CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- Hands-on Flutter development experience and cross-platform knowledge (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile).
- Track record of mentoring engineers, performing code reviews, and contributing to technical strategy.
- Experience delivering large-scale Android applications with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for distributed teams.
