What you will do

• Build and ship production-ready features for Android (and iOS).
• Own the full development lifecycle from concept and architecture to delivery and support.
• Champion quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practice standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, stakeholders) across locations.
• Lead and mentor other engineers, influencing technical direction.
• Take a proactive, hands-on approach in sprints to move with focus and speed.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, including concurrency, memory management, and Room Database.
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose and integrating it into XML-based codebases.
• Strong knowledge of Android frameworks and architectural patterns (MVVM, Coroutines, Clean Architecture).
• End-to-end mobile development experience from architecture and design to Google Play deployment.
• Proven experience with testing practices and CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on Flutter development experience and cross-platform knowledge (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile).
• Track record of mentoring engineers, performing code reviews, and contributing to technical strategy.
• Experience delivering large-scale Android applications with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for distributed teams.

Nice to have

• GraphQL and modern API integration expertise.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Firebase, Sentry, New Relic).
