What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning and GenAI solutions from R&D to production, marketing, and sustainability.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate complex problems into data-driven, deployable AI products.
• Develop and optimize end-to-end ML pipelines in Databricks and Azure Machine Learning.
• Apply graph data science techniques to reveal hidden connections across ingredients, recipes, and consumer insights.
• Experiment with LLMs, embeddings, and AI copilots to accelerate decision-making and knowledge discovery.
• Contribute to AI governance and best practices, ensuring reproducibility, observability, and ethical use of AI.
• Collaborate with universities and research labs to push the boundaries of AI in food innovation.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of professional experience in applied ML or data engineering.
• Strong technical foundation in data science, machine learning, and software engineering.
• Strong knowledge with Python, SQL, and the data science ecosystem.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and Spark for scalable data processing and model deployment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GenAI and LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, FastAPI, OpenWebUI, MCP, MLOps, Azure Data Factory, AML Studio and AI Foundry.
• Knowledge of graph databases (Neo4j).
• Understanding of software engineering practices: version control, CI/CD (Git, MLflow).
• French or Dutch language skills.
