What you will do

• Hire and develop an engineering team responsible for design, development, and operations.
• Manage and mentor engineers, ensuring organizational health and career development.
• Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business objectives, managing resource allocation.
• Lead design reviews for engineers and drive feedback on architecture, design, and operational issues.
• Work with Applied Scientists to deliver machine learning-based solutions.
• Contribute to defining the future of hirify.global’s Marketing and Merchandising.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering management, leading teams of high-calibre Software Engineers.
• Track record of delivering complex, world-class, scalable software systems to customers.
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
• Strong sense of ownership, passion for customer experience, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing Software Engineers.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
