What you will do

• Master research subareas and gain expertise in broad research, including applicable techniques.
• Gain deep knowledge of services, platforms, or domains, identifying product needs by sharing industry trends.
• Review business requirements and incorporate research to meet goals.
• Provide strategic direction for data usage and apply deep subject matter knowledge for business impact.
• Participate in onboarding junior team members and collaborate with the academic community for recruiting.
• Document work, share findings, and contribute to ethics and privacy policies related to research.

Requirements

• English: B2 required
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience (Master's with 3+, Doctorate with 1+).
• 1+ year of experience developing and deploying live production systems within a product team.
• 1+ year of experience developing and deploying products or systems through the full product cycle from ideation to shipping.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree with 6+ years or Doctorate with 3+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years of experience creating publications (e.g., patents, academic papers).
• Experience presenting at conferences or other industry events as an invited speaker.
• 3+ years of experience conducting research in academic or industry settings.
