Platform Engineer II (Terraform & Kubernetes): Developing and maintaining backend infrastructure for hirify.global Cloud, providing internal tools for software development, and ensuring automation and security. What you will do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain production environments by identifying and applying automation, tools, and techniques like Infrastructure as Code.
- Ensure security best practices are identified and integrated into system designs and configuration.
- Develop custom tools and automation through programming and scripting.
- Support Software Development by maintaining and scaling Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments.
- Apply Data Lifecycle Management to sensitive data through backups, permissions management, and auditing.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, triaging alerts, and assisting in disaster recovery as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Configuration management (Ansible, Chef), or Systems Administration.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a power user of various operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac).
- Minimum 2 years experience in a current programming language (Python, Golang).
- Minimum 2 years experience using Source Control Management tools (Git).
- Experience deploying and managing workloads in Kubernetes.
- Experience building and maintaining cloud native services (Amazon Web Services) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- This position can only be performed by a U.S. citizen located physically in the U.S.
Nice to have
- Minimum 2 years experience using issue tracking software (JIRA).
- Experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Experience in enterprise security and hardening best practices.
- Experience working with monitoring and logging tools (LogicMonitor, Sumologic, ELK) and structured databases (MySQL, DynamoDB).
- Direct FedRAMP or government compliance experience.
- Experience with hirify.global products, Apple ecosystem, Grafana, Tempo, SAFe Agile, or geographically distributed teams.
- Experience with Identity & authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO).
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree.
