What you will do

• Collaborate with multiple teams, including Design, Engineering, and Production to develop world-class player experiences.
• Imagine and communicate vision to leadership and the team to develop new content for players.
• Direct and mentor a worldwide team of artists.
• Interpret the needs of all development disciplines into final artwork.
• Deliver effective feedback across all art disciplines (concept, modeling, environment, tech art, lighting, VFX).
• Steer great ideas through the pipeline, working within the style of projects and driving the Fortnite brand forward.
• Filter analysis and feedback into visual direction for new art, and think strategically about how art informs the player experience.

Requirements

• Experience defining and shipping a product-level vision.
• Strong desire to partner with disciplines outside of Art to create a unified vision.
• Experience as a product-level Art Director or Creative Director in a game studio.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals, multiple art styles, anatomy, appeal, and storytelling.
• Experience supporting and directing artists across multiple disciplines.
• Strong leadership skills, with an expectation to guide large teams toward a shared vision.
