Operational Resilience Analyst (Fintech): Strengthening and embedding operational resilience within a financial investment platform with an accent on mapping critical processes, designing in-depth scenario testing, and reporting vulnerabilities. Focus on influencing strategic direction, ensuring regulatory compliance (FCA Consumer Duty), and driving continuous improvement in the organization’s resilience framework.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester, London, or Bristol (UK), requiring a minimum of 50% of working time per month in the office, with an initial full-time in-office period for new team members.

What you will do

  • Act as a subject matter expert for operational resilience, providing practical insight to mature the team’s capabilities.
  • Take ownership of multiple resilience mapping documents, ensuring they are current and comprehensive.
  • Support and influence the review of Impact Tolerances, ensuring robust metrics and evidence for senior review.
  • Lead the design, delivery, and documentation of in-depth scenario testing, driving genuine improvement.
  • Help define and ensure effective resilience testing in collaboration with Technology Services and the wider business.
  • Own the identification and documentation of lessons learned and vulnerabilities from testing or real disruptions.
  • Play a key role in the delivery and ongoing enhancement of the regulatory Operational Resilience Self-Assessment.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK and able to work in Manchester, London, or Bristol.
  • Demonstrable, hands-on operational resilience expertise.
  • Strong understanding of practical operational resilience implementation.
  • Capability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and lead workstreams with minimal oversight.
  • Experience influencing others and shaping the direction of an established operational resilience function.
  • English: B2+ required.
