Senior iOS Engineer (Security): Designing and implementing iOS capabilities to detect and mitigate bots and abusive automation within the Marketplace Security domain with an accent on instrumenting iOS-side signals and building shared frameworks. Focus on understanding new bot patterns, balancing strong protection with smooth member experience, and releasing changes safely using feature flags and metrics.

Location: Hybrid in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania (2 days in office recommended)

Salary: €6,542–€8,842 gross per month

What you will do

• Lead iOS engineering for anti-bot initiatives in Marketplace Security.
• Design and implement iOS capabilities for bot detection and mitigation.
• Implement and maintain iOS-side instrumentation and signals for bot metrics.
• Build and own shared iOS frameworks for consistent bot protections.
• Collaborate with mobile, backend, data, product, and security teams to respond to bot patterns.
• Balance protection with member experience, privacy, and legal constraints.

Requirements

• Strong experience building and maintaining complex iOS apps in Swift.
• Experience building internal iOS frameworks or SDKs with stable APIs.
• Focus on engineering quality: testing, performance, observability, and clean architecture.
• Experience with incident response on mobile using feature flags and staged rollouts.
• Operated at a Senior II level, leading initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Comfortable working in metrics- and data-driven environments.
• Track record in discovery-heavy and greenfield work.
• Communicates clearly in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience in security, fraud/abuse prevention, or trust & safety products.
• Experience with code obfuscation, anti-tampering, or app integrity checks on iOS.
