What you will do

• Create environmental assets such as props, structures, and level art, from concept to final implementation in the Apex engine.
• Work from concepts or other reference materials to achieve believable environments.
• Collaborate with artists and other disciplines to ensure a seamless gameplay experience.
• Optimize assets for performance and memory usage, while maintaining visual fidelity.
• Provide support, guidance, and feedback to your peers.

Requirements

• In-depth experience as an Environment Artist or a similar role in the game industry.
• Excellent modeling, texturing, and shader skills using industry-standard tools (Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter/Designer, Zbrush, and Adobe Photoshop).
• Capability of taking full responsibility throughout the art pipeline.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals such as composition, form, scale, color, texture, and lighting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, both technical and creative.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage your own time and tasks, set realistic goals, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient verbal and written English skills.
• A comprehensive portfolio showcasing artistic skills and examples of work is required for consideration.
