Focus on leading regulatory deliverables, interacting with regulators, and enhancing risk appetite frameworks.

What you will do

  • Lead execution of regulatory deliverables, exams, and overall engagement, focusing on credit, market, and operational risk.
  • Present to and interact with regulators as part of the ongoing supervision process, regulatory examinations, and other deliverables.
  • Manage regulatory interpretation and interact with Finance Division stakeholders to ensure the appropriateness of capital interpretations, methodologies, and processes.
  • Conduct regulatory self-assessments and remediate associated gaps, including reviewing, interpreting, and providing guidance on the impact of pending requirements.
  • Manage implementation of initiatives related to new rules, regulatory exam feedbacks, or internal framework enhancements.
  • Monitor internal and external business activities and the regulatory environment to identify new or emerging risks.
  • Manage and enhance the design of the Risk Appetite Statement framework, incorporating assessments on business strategy, capital planning, and limit calibration.
  • Coordinate regional Risk Committee and Board materials, working closely with heads of Risk functions and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with investment banking products, including loan products and derivatives.
  • Ability to comfortably and effectively interact with internal risk experts and various stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, presentational, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
