What you will do
- Lead execution of regulatory deliverables, exams, and overall engagement, focusing on credit, market, and operational risk.
- Present to and interact with regulators as part of the ongoing supervision process, regulatory examinations, and other deliverables.
- Manage regulatory interpretation and interact with Finance Division stakeholders to ensure the appropriateness of capital interpretations, methodologies, and processes.
- Conduct regulatory self-assessments and remediate associated gaps, including reviewing, interpreting, and providing guidance on the impact of pending requirements.
- Manage implementation of initiatives related to new rules, regulatory exam feedbacks, or internal framework enhancements.
- Monitor internal and external business activities and the regulatory environment to identify new or emerging risks.
- Manage and enhance the design of the Risk Appetite Statement framework, incorporating assessments on business strategy, capital planning, and limit calibration.
- Coordinate regional Risk Committee and Board materials, working closely with heads of Risk functions and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with investment banking products, including loan products and derivatives.
- Ability to comfortably and effectively interact with internal risk experts and various stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, analytical, presentational, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
