What you will do

• Drive the technical roadmap for Assemble, balancing new capabilities with platform stability.
• Lead development of core platform components including data pipelines, knowledge management, agent orchestration, and enterprise integrations.
• Manage a team of engineers and data scientists building Assemble.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, development practices, and code quality.
• Partner with Product to prioritize platform capabilities based on client and business needs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in engineering management.
• Strong technical background in Python and Typescript, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern software architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining production platforms or infrastructure systems.
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems, LLMs, data pipelines, or similar technologies.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments; Start-up Experience a plus!

Nice to have

• Experience building AI/ML platforms or agentic systems.
• Background with enterprise deployments (security, compliance, SSO, RBAC).
• Experience with Azure (our primary cloud for enterprise clients).
• Previous experience at a startup or high-growth company.
• Domain experience in CPG, Retail, or Marketing Technology.
