What you will do

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of the Android SDK, optimizing camera frame processing for ML libraries.
• Spearhead the migration of the SDK from Java to Kotlin, maintaining MVP architecture with RxJava.
• Set code quality standards, create/review pull requests, and mentor team members.
• Participate fully in bi-weekly sprints and daily standups within an agile team.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA to ensure top-tier performance, user experience, and product stability.
• Optimize SDK size to minimize footprint without sacrificing performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of professional Android native development experience.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Deep understanding of camera functionality and performance optimization.
• Experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Familiarity with MVP architecture, Compose, REST APIs, and Git.
• Experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM or Kanban).

Nice to have

• SDK development experience.
• Familiarity with Dependency Injection frameworks.
• Experience with RxJava.
• Open-source contributions.
• Understanding of AWS, machine learning, or image processing.
