Account Executive (Cybersecurity): Closing new Enterprise business opportunities and negotiating customer agreements within Germany, independently and cooperatively. Focus on proactive outbound pipeline generation, establishing relationships with key decision-makers at the CISO level, and managing and growing existing accounts.

What you will do

  • Close new Enterprise business opportunities and negotiate customer agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.
  • Target key decision makers in prospect accounts and channel partners in the assigned territory.
  • Independently generate outbound pipeline by proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying target accounts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (typically CISO level) and partners in the security industry.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Channel, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams.
  • Partner with existing customers to maximize value and strengthen relationships through renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Report accurate pipeline and sales stage using Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Cybersecurity enterprise sales experience and understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Prior sales experience hunting net new accounts and executive-level contacts in the region.
  • Repeated top performer in your region with a stable record (at least 2+ years in each organization or upward growth).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complicated concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
  • MEDDIC experience is required.
  • German & English speaker is required.
